From an early age, Matthew “Closet Guy” Donovan had an innate desire and understanding for all things design-and-build. Typical building sets early on such as Lincoln Logs and Lego turned into K’nex, (thanks, Gramma and Pop Pop!) Linx, Erecta Sets, and more. His outside-the-box mindset had him tossing the directions aside in favor of building whatever one-of-a-kind creations that his mind would come up with next: a quad large and strong enough for him to sit on, a replica of Jurassic Park, an oversized butterfly and much, much, more.

Fast forward to 2023, he’s CADD certified, has a bachelors in Graphic Design and has worked for 5 closet companies — mostly as a designer — for a total of nearly 12 years.

Jaded by the sales-focused design process, and feeling the entrepreneurial spirit, he broke free from bosses of jobs passed to step out on his own.

After tireless hours of research and networking, he decided on a pair of closet companies to handle the installation of  designs — of his own creation — for his clients, based on their geographic location.
